Handcrafted Ceramic Tile with Handpainted Chile Pepper Design
A very veratile item...can be used as a hot plate, cutting-board, hung up as wall art, made into murals, and we could go on and on. All are hand painted by Linda and have been fired hotter than 1800 degrees making them food safe and durable. They come with a hard-board back that is signed by Linda to protect your table if used as a trivet.
Inspired by early pioneers and Native Americans of the old west, Butch and Linda Hammer from the Jackson Hole area started making Best in the West Pottery in 1989. Linda handles the brush while Butch does the clay and firing. All designs are original and created by Butch and Linda. The pottery is made from the best materials obtainable and is fired at 1940 degress to full maturity 4 to 5 times.

Cleaning: Although the pottery cleans up easily with soap and water, grease spots may require 1 part Clorox and 9 parts water.
